F1 Spanish Grand Prix 2027
Race weekend runs Friday to Sunday. The four days before it are empty.
That is the week our F1 golfers ask about: arrive on Monday, play three of Madrid’s best courses, and be at the circuit for Friday practice.
The circuit sits around IFEMA, on the north-east side of the city, the same side as La Moraleja and the airport. The golf and the race share a map, so the week is not spent in traffic.
The dates
Friday 10 to Sunday 12 September 2027
The Formula 1 Gran Premio de España runs from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 September 2027 at MADRING, Madrid.
In 2026, its first year, MADRING reported 352,618 people over the race weekend. Hotels notice that kind of number.
We do not sell race tickets. They are on sale through MADRING’s official website. We look after the rest: golf, hotel and transfers.

Three rounds before the lights go out
One example, without prices. We change the courses, the days and the number of rounds to suit your group and your handicaps.
| Monday 6 Sept | Arrive in Madrid. If you land early, a late-afternoon round or a bucket of balls at Centro Nacional de Golf, about 20 minutes from the centre. |

| Tuesday 7 Sept | Real Club La Moraleja. Courses 1 or 2, on the northern edge of the city. All four courses are by Jack Nicklaus or his design team, and visitors play Monday to Thursday, except public holidays. Race week fits. |
| Wednesday 8 Sept | Golf Santander in Boadilla del Monte, west of the city. A big, open layout and one of the courses we book most. |
| Thursday 9 Sept | Back to La Moraleja for Course 3 or 4, at the club’s second site in Algete, north-east of the city. An early tee time, so the afternoon is free before the race. |
| Friday 10 to Sunday 12 | Race weekend at MADRING. If someone in the group would rather play than watch practice, Centro Nacional and Retamares take visitors every day. |
| Monday 13 Sept | Fly home, or one last round at Golf Club Retamares in Alalpardo, on the airport side of the city. |

Where to stay
Close to the circuit, close to the first tee
Two zones work best for race week. Castellana and the north, around Chamartín and towards the airport, put you near the circuit and 15 to 20 minutes from La Moraleja.
The centre suits groups who want the city at night more than a short drive in the morning. It is further from the circuit, and the Metro helps on race days.

Book the bed before the tee time
Race weekend fills Madrid, and the hotels near Castellana and the north go first. Golf is easier to move than a room.
So tell us now, even without final numbers. We plan the week, and adjust it as the group firms up.

Before you ask
Can you get us race tickets?
No. Tickets are sold by MADRING through its official website. Once you have yours, send us your race days and we build the golf around them.
Can we play La Moraleja during race week?
Yes, Monday to Thursday. The club takes visitors Monday to Thursday, except public holidays, which fits the four days before the race. If you want to play on Friday or at the weekend, we use courses that take visitors every day.
Do we need a handicap certificate?
Bring your home club card or handicap certificate. Each club has its own rules, and we confirm them for your group when we book.
How far are the courses from the circuit?
La Moraleja is on the same north side of the city as the circuit. Golf Santander and LaFinca are to the west, 15 to 30 minutes from the centre. Retamares is to the north-east, towards Alalpardo. Times depend on traffic, and we plan transfers around it.
