Moraleja 4 is the youngest of the four, and the one most visitors have never heard of. The rankings have: Top 100 Golf Courses moved it into Spain’s top 15 in 2026.
It shares a clubhouse with Course 3 but plays with a different character. Islands of planting, gentle mounds, lakes edged with reeds, and several tee options on every hole.
It feels a little more rustic than its polished neighbour. If you like a course with some personality, this is your Moraleja.

Who it suits
The group that has played the famous ones
Golfers who already know Moraleja 3 or have played the big names on the coast and want something less obvious.
Mixed groups: the choice of tees on every hole makes it easy to set up a fair game for different handicaps.
A natural second round after Moraleja 3, at the same clubhouse.
How a round here works
Monday to Thursday, booked ahead
La Moraleja is a private members’ club. Visitors play Monday to Thursday, except public holidays, and only with a tee time booked in advance.
We book it with the club and send you the confirmation in writing before you fly. Your visitor round comes with a buggy, range balls, a picnic and a welcome pack.
Bring your handicap certificate or your home club card. We check the club’s handicap requirement for your group when we book, so nobody finds out at the first tee.
Rental clubs and a driver from your hotel can be added to the same booking. The price depends on the day, the season and the size of your group, and we confirm it together with your tee time.
Location
Algete, 20 minutes from the airport
Moraleja 4 is at the club’s second site, Finca Soto de Mozanaque, in Algete. The address is Carretera de Fuente el Saz (M-111), km 16.5, 28110 Algete. Moraleja 3 and 4 share the same clubhouse.
From Puerta del Sol it is roughly 30 km, around 30 to 40 minutes by car depending on traffic, out on the A-1.
Madrid-Barajas airport is about 20 minutes away. If you are staying in the centre, a transfer is the comfortable option: there is no practical public transport to this side of the club.
Add Moraleja 4 to your trip
Tell us your dates, how many of you are playing and which Moraleja you have in mind. Mónica answers every request herself.
Course 3 is the polished Signature course, longer and wider. Course 4 is a little shorter and more rustic, with mounds, planted islands and lakes in play on six holes. Same clubhouse, very different rounds.
No. La Moraleja opens to visitors Monday to Thursday, and not on public holidays. Weekends belong to the members. If your trip includes a weekend, we put La Moraleja early in the week and fill Friday to Sunday with courses that welcome visitors every day, such as Golf Santander or Centro Nacional.
Yes. Bring your handicap certificate or your home club card. Your home federation handicap is valid, you don’t need a Spanish licence. We confirm the club’s limit for your group when we book.
