This had never happened before, and we will all be waiting for it!

But how do these two big football clubs bond with golf in Madrid?

For the past years both Foundations, Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid’s, have been working hard to promote the values inherited to sports, such as: respect, hard work, solidarity, compromise, equity, and motivation. By supporting golf in Madrid they open a new line of undiscovered sport where young players can develop all of those values. And they also collaborate in many other solidarity actions, such as donating money to cancer research or to sports programs for schools.

The North course, opened in 1997 and host to the Madrid Masters 2007 and 2010 (won by Luke Donald), runs through oak trees and bushes and is a tougher test of golf, although both are very challenging with uphill and downhill holes, valley carries, lots of dogleg holes and well protected by bunkers.
