The Association of Golf Courses of Madrid (ACGM) with the support of Turismo Madrid and the Golf Federation of Madrid, are present at the most important international golf fair in the world that is being held in Cannes until December 15.
This is the second edition in which Madrid is present at the International Golf Travel Market, a meeting place for all the major golf destinations in the world such as South Africa, the Dominican Republic, Portugal, France and Morocco, as well as the other Spanish destinations Costa Blanca , Costa del Sol, Canary Islands, Andalusia, Valencia and Madrid among others as well as the presence of the most important hotel chains and renowned companies that are positioned in the golf segment.
The representatives of the Association have held more than 50 working meetings with golf tour operators from the main countries of Europe and Asia.
The European Tour Operators, including countries such as the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, France, Benelux, China, Italy, USA, Canada, India and Latam … have been able to know the virtues and offer of the 15 golf courses that make up the Association. These tour operators move more than 1 million golf players a year who visit our country.
The meetings have been very positive and several tour operators have already been able to contract tourism and golf packages with the golf courses of Madrid. Many European tour operators see Madrid as an attraction for being a short-distance getaway that can be done any weekend, with magnificent courses located very close to Madrid, the diverse hotel offer, shopping, cultural tourism, nightlife and football, especially in groups of friends who want to play at top-level courses.
